Morning: Setting the Tone
The day begins with a positive mindset, gear up in our professional dress code, and our huddle with instructors and classmates that we call “energy”. During energy we all dance and listen to some energetic music to begin our day. We also start with an inspirational quote each morning to help us get in a good mindset. This is where the tone is set for learning and growth. Then we are all ready to dive into our day.
Mid-Morning to Afternoon: Learning & Application
Classroom lessons cover everything from hair cutting and color theory to skin care and business-building strategies. At TSPA Fort Wayne, we blend traditional education with digital tools, creating a dynamic learning experience. Students then move to the salon training floor, where they practice on mannequins or real guests under the guidance of licensed educators. It’s here that confidence builds, creativity shines, and skills sharpen.
Afternoon to Evening: Real-World Experience
Later in the day, students perform services on guests—from blowouts and balayage to facials and makeup applications. They learn guest communication, time management, and professionalism—preparing them for the real world of beauty. Between services, students engage in goal setting, receive feedback, and collaborate with peers to keep growing.
Every day is a step toward becoming a salon-ready professional, and no two days are ever the same!
